The Studio Display has an option to add Nano-texture glass, which helps reduce glare when working in sunny or bright conditions, and offers several choices for the stand, including a height adjustment design, or a VESA mount. In a less usual move for Apple, the monitor also comes with an excellent six-speaker sound system that includes Apple's Spatial Audio support for compatible audio files, making it a great monitor pick if you listen to a lot of music while working, but don't really like external speakers. The 27-inch monitor offers a 5K resolution with Apple's Retina panel technology and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide cam (plus studio-quality mics) for easy web conferences. Fitbit Versa 3Īpple's latest 2022 monitor is designed from the ground up to serve as an external display for Mac products, making it easily the best fit for the Mac Mini.

Whenever I connect to another WiFi that uses 2.4 GHz the Bluetooth issue reappears thus reconfirming that this is indeed an interference issue.

So I switched my router to the 5GHz band and lo and behold the Bluetooth issue miraculously got resolved! I even suggested this fix to my brother-in-law who has a MBP 2015 and has been also suffering from this issue which he says appeared post-Mojave and after going with my suggestion also got Bluetooth working again for him. After looking everywhere for a solution and trying to pinpoint the issue I finally stumbled on a support page from Apple I think for something unrelated to this that made me realize that this was an interference issue between the Bluetooth and WiFi because they both use the same frequency band 2.4 GHz. Both Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse would suddenly start disconnecting and connecting back like Christmas lights and it would make them utterly unusable. I have a MBP 2018 15” and I’ve had Bluetooth issues with it from day 1.

I have everything Apple but I think I may have to take this back and get a Windows laptop - the M1 macs are all sold out pretty much everywhere and I need a machine to work on now.

I am annoyed because I really like the machine, but I cannot work like this.

I have been through re-installs, full resets, absolutely everything with apple support - today we went through 3 installs of Big Sur and it's still doing it. The mouse seems to jolt every time I use it and the headphones seem to drop in and out almost instantly leaving the voice out of sync with the picture (on YouTube for example). My keyboard suffers severe lag, it's unusable - the letters on the screen lag so far behind what I am typing it never catches up, these weird accent keys keep popping up. I use the Magic Keyboard and MX3 mouse and Airpod Pro's and more recently I got some Sony MX4's. I have MBP M1, this is actually my 2nd machine as the first one was faulty. So glad I found this thread, I too am having terrible BT issues. Maybe the M1 security chip blocked the first port (adress) of the mice because of this connection issue in the first place, dunno.īut works fine now with the solution above :) Somehow if the mouse was connected in the first place or had connection issues (at my M1 it blinked for a few seconds between connected/diconnected and then finally lost signal) or it was connected via the USB-Bluetooth dongle from logitech, the port (1,2,3) which the mouse is pointing to is just dead for this specific mac. Repeat the process and change the device number the mouse is pointing to (button on the back) port 2 or 3 (this little button at the bottom with changes the device the mouse is pointing to, called logitech flow)ģ) Turn your mouse and keys off, wait a few seconds, turn it on againĤ) Go to your bluetooth settings on the M1 macbook and then you will see your mouse listed, can connect it and everything works totally fine 2) Change the device number on the back of your logitech mouse or keys to another number, e.g.

Then I randomly found the solution myself:ġ) Disable bluetooth on your macbook air or pro M1, wait for 5 seconds, enable it again. Had the exact same issue, talked to apple and logitech, nothing helped.
